# Rift Tier

GP can be staked in the Rift to increase a player's Rift Tier.

Having a higher Rift Tier grants cooldown reductions for all of the player's wizards in [training](https://wnd.gitbook.io/wizards-and-dragons-game/gameplay/training "mention"), as well as cooldown reductions in future quests and other benefits.
